They sent me the wrong stock the first time around. It wasn't even cataloged. It was a solid grey laminate stock. Not bad but not what I wanted. It wasn't all bad receiving it though. It gave me a chance to test fit my Marlin and gave me the confidence to go ahead with the mods I will need to make to the Coyote.

This is going to be a fabulous set-up when done.

I bought the XS just to have a deer rifle. Now, given the great accuracy reports and the low entry point cost I'm comfortable spending a little more to trick it out. I will probably go with an after-market plate. If the guys with Winchesters think they need to change them out I might as well get what they are buying. I'm coming out way ahead.
